Established in New York in 1989 as an allied firm of Lacroze/Miguens/Prati Arquitectos (est.Buenos Aires 1975), Eduardo Lacroze AIA /Architect (LMPNY) is a full service architectural firm with a practice deeply rooted in the belief that context - historical, geographical, cultural and technological - is, and should be, the dominant conditioner of architectural response. Beyond style, beyond dogma and beyond function.

With a roster of projects and buildings in over twenty countries including the US, most of Latin America, Europe and Saharan Africa - made possible by a solid understanding of the interrelation of site, form, function and the end user - the firm is equally comfortable, and effective, whether undertaking painstaking high-end residential commissions, community oriented institutional projects or large scale resorts in highly sensitive locations.

A well established network of strategic alliances with first rate A&E firms both in the US and Latin America, as well as the on-going joint venture with its sister firm LMPBA, allows Eduardo Lacroze AIA/Architect to devote the same focused attention to client base and end product, both in its home turf and its overseas assignments.

An international array of distinguished awards, publications and exhibitions as well as an extensive repeat client list spanning over four decades of professional activity attest to the resilience and permanence of LMP's design and service philosophy.

Eduardo Lacroze/AIA Principal

Eduardo Lacroze (b.1951, Buenos Aires), founding Principal of LMPBA since 1975 and duly licensed in New York since 1985, holds degrees in Architecture from Universidad de Buenos Aires (1974) and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts/Arkitektskolen in Copenhaguen (MAA/1978).

A longstanding member of both the AIA (American Institute of Architects) and the SCA (Sociedad Central de Arquitectos/B.A.), Mr. Lacroze is, as a result of his acknowledged architectural practice, a frequent lecturer at international symposiums and forums, specializing in the contextual impact of tourism, the hospitality industry and the design profession.

He has also actively participated at numerous professional conventions throughout Latin America and Spain,

and has contributed essays to journals and publications.

In addition to LMP's numerous design awards and museum exhibitions, Mr.Lacroze has been personally recognized by institutions such as the AIA/LIC and the Heckscher Museum for his consistent long standing contributions to both community and profession.

Mr.Lacroze lives in Long Island, New York, from where he commutes periodically to Buenos Aires and wherever his international commissions may take him. In between, he indulges, as feasible, in his passions for fly-fishing and research of eighteenth century Continental and Colonial decorative arts, undertaking at any given time challenging restoration projects with the help and support of his wife Consuelo, an antiques restorer.

Now joined by his daughter Olivia, he has recently re-launched into the public venue his longstanding art and antiques consultancy and dealership, Lacroze Inc. (www.lacrozeinc.com).
